What can I say? We go way back -- since our junior year at Pt. Loma High School. You had Mickey the Mustang and we double-dated in that car dozens of times; the only problem was setting you up with a girl so I could date mine. Coronado ferry rides, beach trips, ditching school to drive to the mountains, and a whole lot more.

Remember your ugly dog, Gunther?  Remember when you stayed at my place for a month in the village of Johannesberg, near Fulda, Germany, in 1973? 

Now you're a successful salesman with your own company, a matchless people-person, and the funniest guy I know. You're an umpire for the San Diego Little League, and to them you're "Blue." 

What happened on January 6, 2001?  You got married to Nonie, and I was your Best Man, and it was a day of fun and frolic, mirth and mayhem, and all-round good cheer. Click here to see some of your wedding pictures.
