| With
a camera in the hand, whatever you're doing takes on a more profound
significance. I've loved photography for many years. Here's the page that
attests to that.
For a glimpse of my photographic
background, check out the cameras below.
|
| When I was 14, my dad gave me his Argus
C3 viewfinder 35mm camera and
showed me what photography was all about. I was soon developing my own black and
white film. |

Argus C3, a
bonafide classic camera. |

|
| I bought a used Voightlaender while in the army in Germany and continued with
my hobby. Then in 1981 I bought an all-black, all-manual Nikon FM and a bunch of
lenses and creative filters and embarked on a second surge of
picture-taking. |
 |
Nikon FM.
Rugged all-mechanical camera. Mine
survived a drop onto asphalt in England, but not the savagery of my son's
inquisitive fingers. |

|
| I bought an Olympus D320L digital camera in 1997, then upgraded to a D340L
for another two years. |

|
| In
November 2001 I bought a Nikon
Coolpix 885 digital camera and was long in its thrall. I gave it to my
daughter, but it's little used today. |

Nikon Coolpix
885. 3.1 megapixel resolution.
Incredible pictures. |

|
| To make sure I always have a camera with me, I bought a Canon
S110 Digital ELPH. I loved this camera -- and soon bought an SD230 with more
resolution. Finally, when the SD400 came out, I went and bought this 5MP
version of the original S110. Obviously, I'm sold on Canon products. |

Canon S110
Digital ELPH.
2.1 megapixel resolution. Smallest
digital camera made. The two subsequent ELPHs I've owned are very
similar. |
