One day in November 2001, I dusted off my trusty old Nikon FM manual 35mm camera, and over a sub sandwich I mumbled to Caitlin the basics of photography. We then went on a local photo jaunt, and I have never seen somebody grasp the esthetic essentials of photography so quickly. So for Christmas 2001, her godfather Marc and I surprised her with a digital camera, a 2.1 megapixel HP318. She took to it instantly and has photographed some excellent subjects, finding the photograph in all things. Here are some shots from Caitlin's burgeoning photographic oeuvre.
