What do I do? Geez, I guess I'm a
wannabe poet who landed into working for software
companies. I'm proud of my kids, life experiences,
and maybe 20 of my hundreds of poems. What do I love? My kids, their
mother, my mom
and dad, my sisters
Julie and Anne, and my buddies. Their love
toward me probably vacillates, but is generally reciprocated. Since my time in the Army with the 14th ACR and 11th ACR in Fulda, Germany, I've counted my blessings. I've been a teacher, a laborer in a felt factory and ball-bearing factory in Germany, a poet, writer, translator, and software dude.
If I could start all over again, I'd be
a musician. I play a mean blues harp, some On my deathbed, I'll be sure to ask forgiveness for all my selfish ways, like extravagant traveling and profligate spending. I have a serious disdain for self-help books and New Age crap, the Religious Right, those who think power should devolve to the states, single-issue voters, and people telling me what to do. I am afflicted by a woeful misunderstanding of women, despite my best efforts. You're welcome to check out some favorite older photos, which may or may not be representative of me or my life.
